Do You Dabble or Decide?

By 0

If you’ve followed our blog here at Inversion Credit, you’d probably agree that we have provided some great content. It makes us happy to take what we know and help our customers succeed with their finances. However, one of the most challenging things is to see our valued customers not make the commitment to financial freedom, too often folks commit from their heels.

Don’t get me wrong, we love writing to our customers on many topics. We love it when we see our customers take leaps and bounds in their financial life.

So I have a super serious question for you. Here it is —-> Do you dabble?

Here’s the thing… dabbling has never got anyone anywhere. For real.

Imagine for a moment that it’s one year from now. What would you say at that time if I asked about your financial state? Would it be better than it was twelve months ago, the same? Perhaps worse? Definitely no one expects to be in a worse state of life than they were twelve months ago… but so many are. The key phrase is “expects to be”. I mean, no one makes a decision to stay in the dumps! Or do they??

If I want you take anything away from the lesson in today’s blog it would be this…

you are 100% responsible for your future

Notice, I didn’t say past! But future. You’ve most likely experienced some serious financial set backs in life. God knows we all have! But those don’t just have to be terrible memories, they can be lessons. Yes I just said “lessons”. Put it this way; life happens, and it almost always happens with zero warning!

If we are brutally honest with ourselves, we might see several bad financial situations that may have been less painful, if not all-together avoided. A simple financial plan can make a disaster much, much less of a disaster.

If you’ve tried budgeting in the past and it never got you anywhere then there are probably only two reasons.

  1. The budget strategy wasn’t right for you.
  2. You dabbled and didn’t decide to stick with it.

If you feel it’s time to take your finances seriously, we’d love to help. You can check out a previous blog here —>> The One Number Strategy.

Alright let’s recap!

  • Dabbling never got anyone anywhere. Decide to make a change.
  • You are 100% responsible for your future.
  • Financial problems are a lessons in disguise. Decide to learn from them.
