Silly, right? What I mean by this ties into visualizing the win. Think of your closest big goal, what do you think you’ll do when you accomplish it? Will you cheer? Call someone? Maybe buy yourself something? When you feel your motivation to achieve that goal dwindle, rehearse your celebration. Imagine how good it will feel and cheer! Think about how you’ll start the conversation with the person you’ll call. Windowshop for that something special you’ll buy. Visualize that deep breath and satisfactory sigh, that feeling that you did exactly what you set out to do, and overcame anything that tried to stand in your way.
